This time there were conspicuously many flat shoes at the Berlin Fashion Week – was it because everyone was preparing for the visit of smaller, hidden designers, after the big names of Escada over Hugo Boss had long canceled to Rena? Or to Annette Weber’s appearance in Adidas training trousers and jogging shoes at the Escada fashion show in January 2012? According to the motto:If the InStyle boss, then me too. Even the Valentinos were flat. You know, the with the rivets (“Rockstud”). And then there was the fur-lined Céline Birkenstocks at the feet of Sue greed (Linette, closed) at the Burda style cocktail.

But there was also the other shoe trend:leather. Coco Pelger, the deputy. Girlfriend-editor-in-chief (previously InStyle) remained brave in her Alexander Wang-booties even at high summer temperatures:

Here I met blogger Susie Bubble, who believes that one should combine Birkenstocks eh with chic, with sculptural or just an elaborately embroidered skirt. No way to jeans and shirt (I see otherwise). Living in London, the brand has only been known for almost 10 years, when stars have helped to make the cork footbed shoes an international reputation. From their point of view, the fact that Birkenstock was never a fashionable label is the reason why we fashion to find the shoe so cool and like to combine it. I give your right.
